Day Illustrations

Brooklyn-based children's book illustrator Betsy Day wanted her site to have a fun and fanciful feel. Folk Theory's Jolynne Roorda used Flash animation to bring a few of Betsy's characters to life and create a sky in the background that changes from day to night, complete with twinkling and shooting stars. The fun yet sophisticated design met Betsy's need to appeal to both her young fans and publishing professionals.
